How Remi uses Google Drive

Remi works fully offline and never requires an account. If you choose to turn on cloud backup (an optional premium feature), Remi can save a copy of your data to your own Google Drive so you can restore it on a new phone. Signing in with Google is the only time Remi connects to a Google service, and it is always your choice.

A private, app-specific folder in your Google Drive — the Drive App Data folder.

Why we use it
To back up your Remi data and restore it on a new device. That is the only purpose.
What gets backed up
Your medications, dose history, prescriptions and their photos, profile names and photos, and app settings — bundled into a single backup file.
Where it goes
Only into your own Google Drive App Data folder, tied to your Google account. It is hidden from your normal Drive view and is private to the Remi app.
What we never do
We never send your data to Rango's servers or to any third party, and we never read, sell, or share it. Rango operates no servers that receive your medical data.
Staying in control
You can turn cloud backup off at any time, sign out of Google, and delete the backup from your Drive. Remi keeps working normally without it.
Remi's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Privacy first

Your data stays with you

Remi has no user accounts, no advertising trackers, and no third-party analytics in the data you enter. Everything you record lives on your device, and the only thing that ever leaves is a backup you choose to send to your own Google Drive.
